Dumb Friends League CatFest®

More than 2,000 people attend the annual CatFest at the Dumb Friends League Quebec Street shelter in Denver. This four-hour event, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., inspires a sense of community and raises awareness about the benefits of adopting a cat. Vendors and sponsors offer cat-related products and services, and attendees enjoy food, live music, cat training demonstrations, and waived adoption fees for adult cats.

The Dumb Friends League Furry Scurry®

May 2, 2015
The Furry Scurry dog walk, held in Denver’s Washington Park, is a two-mile walk from 9 a.m. to noon that draws 12,000 people and 5,000 dogs each year. More than 150 vendors and sponsors offer pet-related products, and walkers enjoy food, demonstrations and contests. 

The Dumb Friends League Harmony Equine Center™ Open House

May 2015
The Harmony Equine Center Open House takes place at the Franktown facility from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., is attended by more than 1,000 people. Vendors and sponsors offer equine-related products and services, and attendees enjoy training demonstrations, guided tours, food trucks, live music, adoptable horses, adoptable cats and dogs from the Buddy Center, and resource booths providing information on horse adoption and summer equine classes and camps.
